Travel is a word full of meanings; the long road, the intrepid, the immigrant, far and wide, the universe, have gun will… Whatever the meaning, travel uses all the senses. The smell of land and food, the sound of language and countryside, the touch of a hand and the sight of a smile. They all remain in your memory. Switched on at the oddest of triggers and dreamt about as you slumber. But to share these experiences and describe your senses suddenly become two-dimensional – words and images.
